- Born into the world on a warm August day in 1968, Micah Raskin would evolve to become a recognized face in the semi-professional poker milieu of New York, NY. His initiation into professional poker in 2007 has since seen him amass a small fortune, to over 2 million dollars in tournament earnings. Beyond his skillful endeavors at the card table, he has consciously directed a significant portion of his winnings—more than one-fourth—to a range of charitable organizations. His understanding isn’t confined to just poker; he is also a spirited businessman and a philanthropist at heart. He has made considerable contributions to the fabric of his local community, supporting various faith-based institutions, medical centers, and educational establishments, particularly those aimed at enriching the lives of children with Autism.
